Make a Terrarium with Terrapy - Workshop

  • The Compound 161 Bexhill Road Saint Leonards-on-sea, England, TN38 8BG United Kingdom (map)

Terrapy introduces you to the wonderful world of terrariums. Over a two hour workshop, you will learn all about how these little tropical worlds work, how they have shaped our lives for the better, and how to create one of your own! You will then make a bioactive closed terrarium under our guidance, with all of the beautiful tropical plants and high quality, low impact materials provided. This terrarium will be yours to keep forever, and you will leave with all the knowledge needed to care for it into the future.

Terrapy is a small Wealden terrarium company that is expanding access to horticulture and its associated mental health benefits by decoupling it from the need to own private outdoor space. All our materials are chosen for their low environmental impact, with waste products being used wherever possible, zero consumer packaging, and our small remaining carbon footprint very excessively offset in partnership with Tradewater. We also donate 10% of our annual profits to organisations fighting for social equity and against climate change. Our aim is for every terrarium made with Terrapy to be a vote for a socially equitable future in a stable climate. You can read more about our mission at www.terrapy.uk/about
