Make a magic potion that helps to weave a fantastical tale! Facilitated by Ruby Russell. Come along to create a secret potion that has all the powers of a Magic 8-Ball, and let your potion help you to tell a wondrous yarn, with twists and turns unfolding as we act…

Kids will be creating their own potion to take home with them, tailoring the colours, smells and ingredients to their own preferences and desired magical properties. Each potion will contain a 10-sided dice, and we will use these potions like a Magic-8 Ball to dictate the story elements that will be written collaboratively by everyone in the room. What story will the numbers tell? Will it have a happy ending? We’ll have to act it out to see.

Ruby Russell is an actor, writer and facilitator with a love for live-action roleplay games, like Dungeons & Dragons. She spent two years working as a Drama teacher in a private school, helping children unlock their storytelling and improvisational skills, and drawing out their creative imaginations.
