In this FREE drop in workshop create clay leaf badges and beads to be wild fired in the wood by artist Martin Brockman. Using locally dug clay participants will explore the shapes and patterns and textures to be found in the leaves of the woodland  and make a series of small clay objects based on what they see .These will be dried and placed in a small fire in a wheelbarrow. 

While the clay objects are fired we shall further explore the leaves and trees of the site with drawings using locally sourced pigments (oak, ink, clay, chalk and charcoal). 

There will be three sessions:

• Session 1 - 10.30am (pieces ready to collect by 12pm)

• Session 2 - 11.30am (pieces ready to collect by 1.30pm)

• Session 3 - 1.30pm (pieces ready to collect by 3.00pm)
